Making a Difference in the Lives of Children
Partners in Education (PIE) is a volunteer program designed to build effective partnerships between the community and local school districts to promote and enhance student learning.
What is Partners in Education?
Vision of the Partners in Education program is:
- To lead others to meet the challenge of developing top-quality public education partnerships through expanded training opportunities, Lunch Buddies, Tutoring, and other contribution areas.
- To enhance the learning place and make students better prepared for future decisions.
What do Partners offer students?
There are different levels of partnerships ranging from Lunch Buddies to Tutors to Circle Partners, all of which address aspects of the PIE needs. Some of the activites included from the partnerships include the following:
- Lunch Buddies
- Career Orientation
- Tutoring
- School Event Participation
- Job Shadowing
- Christmas Sponsorship
- and much more!
