The Paragould Chamber Foundation recently hosted its Get a Life in Paragould simulation, an educational experience designed to help tenth-grade students across Greene County better understand the financial responsibilities of everyday life.
Through the simulation, students explored real-world financial decisions and learned how to manage expenses, balance a budget, and make choices based on their income and financial obligations. Participants tracked their finances over the course of a simulated month, gaining a better understanding of how everyday expenses can impact their overall financial well-being.
The program provides students with an opportunity to apply financial concepts in a hands-on setting while preparing them for the financial decisions they will face as they enter adulthood.
