St. Bernards Regional Medical Center

St. Bernards Medical Center was established in 1900 in response to a malarial fever outbreak in Northeast Arkansas. Since that time, it has focused on meeting community healthcare needs and has grown into one of the largest and most respected healthcare facilities in the state. Serving as the area’s trusted provider of comprehensive, compassionate healthcare, the 435-bed acute care medical center is a referral center for 23 counties in Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri.

Approximately 300 physicians representing more than 37 specialties hold active and consulting medical staff privileges.

A not-for-profit hospital, St. Bernards has as its formal mission providing Christ-like healing to the community through education, treatment and health services.

NEA Baptist health System

NEA Baptist Health System is currently building an advanced, integrated medical campus which will include a 181 bed hospital, NEA Baptist Clinic specialty offices, and the new NEA Baptist Cancer Center. The $400 million dollar investment in Northeast Arkansas will bring over 600 new jobstothe area, bringing the total number of employees at NEA Baptist Health System to approximately 1500. The new medical campus is scheduled to open Fall 2013.

NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility in Jonesboro and is affiliated with Baptist Health Care Corporation of Memphis, TN. The local hospital offers a number of inpatient and outpatient services, emergency care, surgical services including weight loss surgery, neurology, respiratory care, cancer care, and pulmonary rehabilitation. NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital also offers heart care through its Heart Center and labor and delivery services through the hospital’s Women’s Center.

NEA Baptist Clinic is the largest and most comprehensive physician-led and professionally managed multi-specialty group practice in the region.  NEA Baptist Clinic is made up of over 100 physicians providing care in more than 35 medical specialties.  The mission of NEA Baptist Clinic is to provide comprehensive, personalized, quality healthcare for patients throughout the Northeast Arkansas region.

NEA Baptist's new comprehensive Cancer Center will be the first of its kind in our region -- bringing together the area's most respected oncology physicians in one extraordinary new facility housing research, diagnostics, treatment, education and support side-by-side with physicians' offices.  The 34,000 square foot facility located on the new NEA Baptist medical campus will allow physicians access to advanced cancer-fighting tools while simultaneously offering greater access and convenience to their patients.
