Crowley's Ridge State Park has been with the Paragould Regional Chamber of Commerce for 15+ years! Crowley's Ridge State Park offers recreational park services. Some examples include cabins, campsites, picnic areas, trails, pavilions, a 31-acre fishing lake, and a 3 ½ acre swimming lake. Crowley's Ridge State Park was established in 1933 by the Civilian Conservation Corps and is one of the original 6 state parks built by them. There are 8 full time employees along with 12 part time employees. Crowley's Ridge State Park hosts many events for the local community with the annual Ghost Legends and the Unexplained Halloween event being the largest. They are involved in the Civitan club, and work with boy and girl scouts. Crowley's Ridge State Park is opening a new cabin that will sit on Walcott Lake, which will be open to the public for rentals. Crowley's Ridge State Park is one of the oldest state parks in the state and is open to the public 365 days a year. A representative was noted as saying it is surprising how many locals have never been and encourages them to come anytime!
