If you are thinking about starting your own beehive or just want more information on what it takes to become a beekeeper, this class is for you. No prior knowledge in beekeeping is needed just a curiosity in setting up a beehive or learning more about bees.
Learn how to raise bees in your backyard and understand how much it costs to start beekeeping. This 3-hour course will cover choosing and setting up your beekeeping equipment, how to acquire your bees and install them into the hive, conducting inspections, pros and cons of beekeeping, equipment options and what to expect with beekeeping.
